Rain Byars
Rain Byars has worked in the wind industry since 1998 in various technical and management roles including fleet manager and director of engineering. With a degree in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Rain has brought together engineers, service personnel, suppliers, and park owners to improve designs, increasing power performance and reliability. With an excellent relationship to many top component suppliers, Rain is able to incorporate best in industry technology. Rain currently brings her experience to the role of COO at Nextwind Inc.

 

 

 

William Miller
William Miller has a background in engineering design and development spanning over 20 years, bringing his experience to the wind industry since 1997. Bill has most recently served as the director of engineering for a new wind turbine design in California.

With a wealth of real world experience informing his design concepts, Bill has also added his expertise and skill to wind turbine developments including the US Market adaptation of the Tacke design which became GE’s flagship 1.5MW, the Zond 550kW, Enron 750kW, Conergy 900kW, IWP 1.25MW, and the Clipper 2.5MW “Liberty” turbine.

Bill currently brings his experience to the role of CTO of Nextwind Inc.
